Planning.

It's almost June. The sun is shining and the cicadas are starting to buzz. It sounds like a good time for a few great life decisions.

The first one is a possible trip to Iceland.

Little house on an island. Yes, please.

Jason has his ticket as of a few months ago. A little more planning needs to go into this one.

The second idea requires a little less planning. The weekend of June 15th, pack up and ride down to Hazleton, WV to catch the end of the Big Bear 2x12. Most likely stopping in Ohiopyle on the way down for their annual Beer & Gear event. A lot of beer, food and standing around in the sun would be great for packed bicycles and the climbs between Ohiopyle and Big Bear. Camp, then ride back Sunday.

A few more things on the horizon, but more on that later.

The most important non-bicycle and non-Ryanne-graduating-grad-school thing going on is my need to pressure wash and rebuild part of our upper patio. It's about two years overdue, so I need to find a couple days to dedicate to it.

Oh, and I got on Strava.

And now I understand what all the hype is about.

I uploaded my ride from last night and Ian and I got #1 and #2 on a pretty good section at North Park. I managed to worm my way into a bunch of the leader boards. Now, I just need to work on my descent on the "Smokey the Bear Downhill" segment.
